Shauna Bittle
Shauna Bittle is a freelance photographer based in Chicago. She worked as a cartoon animator for several years before deciding to pursue her love of photography as a career in 2003. Shauna holds a Master's degree in photojournalism from the University of Missouri and has interned for several daily newspapers, including the Bremerton Sun, the San Antonio Express-News, and the Muskegon Chronicle. She worked at the Nashville Tennessean and Courier News in Elgin, Illinois before beginning a freelance career in 2009.
Shauna enjoys photographing scenes of daily life and the various
cultures in the United States. In her documentary work, Shauna
focuses on issues of health and faith. When not photographing,
she enjoys crafting gifts for friends and playing
backgammon.
