You love your digital camera. You love the photos you take with it – travel shots, family and friends, artistic scenes. You want to take the next step and add a ‘professional’ finish to your images and you don’t want to spend months learning how to do it.
Learn the basics of Photoshop in this one day introduction for photographers. The class will focus on the use of masking for maximum control over global and local tonal and color adjustments, and it will simplify the use of Channels. It will cover basic color theory and color management, as well as the resolution and resizing of photos. Compositing concepts will be discussed as they relate to masking. By the time you leave, you’ll have the skills to retouch and enhance your images to give them that final professional gloss.
Please bring some digital images to work on during the Boot Camp. We prefer the digital images are in RAW format but JPEGs will work too if they are at a high resolution (at least 1200 pixels or higher). You will also need a pen and notebook to take notes during class.
** Note: Class size is limited to 12 students.
